After breakfast, take a 60 mins high-speed passenger ferry from Chiayi Budai Port to Penghu Magong Port. Upon arrival, visit Ocean Ranch, it is the largest breeding area in Penghu, with vast oyster fields and box net fields on the vast sea. Enjoy the thrill of fishing at Sea Ranch. You can also have as many fresh grilled oysters and delicious seafood porridge as you want. Next, visit Duxingshi Village, the oldest military housing in Taiwan. It is also famous for Singer Chang Yusheng. He spent his childhood here. Now his former residence has become space for art exhibitions and a memorial museum. Continue to Penghu Central Old Street, the oldest street in Penghu, also known as the “First Street of Penghu.” Tianhou Temple, oldest Matsu Temple in Taiwan, even before 1604 when the Dutch retreated. After breakfast, visit Tongliang Great Banyan Tree. It is over 300 years old and forms a huge, sprawling canopy over the courtyard of Bao'An Temple. After breakfast, visit Daguoye Basalt Columnar, very popular for its long stretch of wall, the small pond in front of it reflecting the rocks and the beautiful sea view nearby. Next, visit Erkan Historic Village, is a unique cultural attraction in Taiwan that preserves nearly 300 years of Southern Min culture. It features relief carvings, windows, doors, and eaves in the classic southern Fujian style. The exquisite craftsmanship evident it its rustic yet refined simplicity highlights the skills of its builders. Make a stop at Fongguei Cave, it is a sea erosion hole that has been eroded by the waves for a long time. When the tide rises, the waves will pour into the hole, and it will make a loud noise. Thereafter, transfer to Penghu Magong Port for a ferry ride to Taichung.
