Day 3 LHASA

Samye Monastery - founded in the 8th century during the Tubo Dynasty and is the first monastery in Tibet where monks were ordained. Yumbulagang (including round-trip electric car) is the first palace in Tibetan history and is regarded as the "birthplace of Tibetan civilization." It was not only the early political center of the Tubo Dynasty but also an important symbol of Tibetan culture.

Day 5LHASA/SHIGATSE (360KM 6HRS)

Cross over Gangbala Mountain, visit Yamdrok Lake, one of the three holy lakes of Tibet, and enjoy a distant view of Mount Nojin Kangsang. Also see Karola Glacier, one of Tibet's Four Sacred Mountains and Three Continental Glaciers. Pass by the Simila Reservoir, known as the 'First Dam of Tibet,' and Bai Ju Monastery, a temple where the Sakyapa, Shalu, and Gelug schools of Tibetan Buddhism coexist. Finally, arrive in Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet."

Tsurphu Monastery - Main monastery of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, with a history of 800 years since its founding.Yaowang Mountain Viewing Platform - This is an excellent location for photographing the Potala Palace, and also the backdrop for the 50 yuan RMB banknote.Chalarup Cave - It is the only cave in Tibetan history that can be traced back to the Tibetan Empire (Tubo period).

Tibet Museum (Closed on Monday) - The first museum in Tibet with modern facilities. Or Zaki Temple, the only temple in all of Tibet dedicated to the God of Wealth. 翻越岗巴拉山、西藏三大天湖之一的羊卓雍措、远眺乃钦康桑雪山,西藏四大神山之一、西藏三大大陆型冰川之一卡若拉冰川、途经有“西藏第一坝”之称斯米拉水库、白居寺是一座藏传佛教萨迦派、夏鲁派、格鲁派共存的寺院。抵达日喀则, 西藏第二大城市。
