Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Auckland.

Day 2AUCKLAND - ROTORUA
Upon arrival, transfer to the geothermal region of Rotorua, known as the centre of Maori culture. Enjoy the dance, music and fascinating culture of the Maori people at atraditional Hangi feast.

Day 3ROTORUA - MATAMATA -ROTORUA
After breakfast, proceed to Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see the natural wonderland of bubbling mud pools and roaring geysers, and marvel at the steaming hot springs in the Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. Thereafter, visit Kiwi House to view live kiwi birds and learn more about the plight of the national icon. Next, visit the Māori Arts and Craft Institute. Watch the carvers and weavers as they carry out the traditions of their Māori ancestors. Continue to Matamata to experience the Hobbiton Movie Set Tour, where “The Lord of the Rings” was filmed. Discover the real Middle-earth on a very picturesque farmland and spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges. Thereafter, transfer back to Rotorua.

Day 4ROTORUA - WAITOMO -AUCKLAND
Today, transfer to visit Waitomo Cave to discover the spectacular Glowworm Cave before venturing on a boat trip through the awe-inspiring Glowworm Grotto. Continue to Auckland including viewing of Michael JosephSavage Memorial Garden, the Viaduct, the Harbour Bridge, the Sky Tower, Parnell Village and Tamaki Drive. Thereafter, free at own leisure.

Day 5AUCKLAND - CHRISTCHURCH – GLACIER REGION
In the early morning, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour which includes the viewing of the Transitional/Cardboard Cathedral and New Regent Street, an outdoorretail space made from colorful shipping containers. Next, proceed to Glacier region. Drive pass Canterbury Plains and make a photo stop at Arthur’s Pass. Tonight, check-in hotel in glacier region.

Day 6GLACIER REGION – WANAKA – QUEENSTOWN
After breakfast, stop by Fox Glacier or Franz Josef Glacier lookout point to view the stunning glacier. Continue with scenic drive through Westland National Park to Wanaka. En route view the Thunder Creek Falls, one of the well-known waterfalls in the Haast River Valley. Amber along West Coast’s scenic route, where the Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea, is located side by side presenting an incomparable alpine panorama. Pass by Arrowtown, a small beautiful town with rich gold mining history to Queenstown, a town nestled by Lake Wakatipu. Upon arrival, enjoy picturesque views of The Remarkable and Coronet Peak Mountain Ranges. Note : The visit to Fox Glacier or Franz Josef Lookout Point is subject to weather conditions.

Spend the day free at own leisure to explore the beautiful resort town. Alternatively, you may join optional excursion such as Milford Sound, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site, or try jet boating, horse riding or rafting and many more at your own expenses. * Recommended Optional Excursion : Milford Sound Tour.

Day 8QUEENSTOWN
This morning, visit Arrowtown, a small beautiful town with rich gold mining history from Queenstown. Thereafter, make a short photo stop at the Kawarau Bridge Bungy, the World’s home of Bungy Jumping. Next, aboard The Vintage Steamship TSS ‘Earnslaw’ for a cruise across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Will be having a gourmet barbecue lunch at the Colonel’s Homestead. Thereafter, enjoy watching sheep shearing demonstration or showmanship by the farm’s sheepdogs.Note: If the Vintage Steamship TSS ‘Earnslaw’ under goes annual maintenance (May & June) and will be travelling on a smaller motorised boat.

Day 9QUEENSTOWN - LAKE TEKAPO
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Tekapo and stop by Mrs Jones Fruit Orchard, where you can buy fresh or dried fruits. Continue to the Salmon Farm, whereby you will have the opportunity to feed salmon and taste fresh salmon sashimi at your own expense. Proceed to admire the spectacular view from New Zealand’s highest mountain - Mount Cook Lookout Point*. Next, proceed to Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo to see the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Mackenzie Sheep Dog Statue.NOTE: The visit to Mount Cook Lookout Point is subject to weather conditions. In the event that accommodation is unavailable in the Lake Tekapo Peppers Bluewater Resort, we will arrange a similar hotel class.

Day 10LAKE TEKAPO - CHRISTCHURCH
After breakfast, visit Farmers’ Corner where you can experience hand-feeding alpacas and see lavender in bloom* during summer (subject to weather conditions). Thereafter, embark on a city tour that includes the viewing of the Transitional/Cardboard Cathedral and stopping by New Regent Street. Thereafter, check into your hotel and enjoy your free time. If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping.

Visa
Immigration procedures require all tourists to possess a passport with minimum 6 months validity from the day of departure. Singapore passport holders do require a visa to New Zealand. For foreign passport, please ensure relevant visa is applied should you need one. It is necessary to bring along re-entry permit or air ticket to country of origin for passenger not holding Singapore passport. It is advisable to keep separately a photocopy of your travel document.
