Madrid, Spain's central capital, is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace as well as a photo stop at REAL MADRID Santiago Bernabeau Stadium. Stop via Gran Via, Puerta del Sol if your are craving for some shopping.

Day 3MADRID – TOLEDO – SALAMANCA

Depart Madrid for Toledo which is set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain. It’s known for the medieval Arab, Jewish and Christian monuments in its walled old city, and as the former home of the artist El Greco. The Moorish Bisagra Gate and the Sol Gate, in Mudéjar style, opens into the old quarter, where the Plaza de Zocodover is a lively central meeting place before arriving into Salamanca, which is the capital of the Castile and León region. Ruled successively by the Celts, Romans, Muslims and Spanish, it’s known for its ornate sandstone architecture and for the Universidad de Salamanca. Which was founded in the 1100s and an important intellectual Centre.

Day 4SALAMANCA – FATIMA – LISBON

This morning, we cross the border across the Portugese frontier to Fatima which is a central Portuguese town that's home to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage site. The Capelinha das Apariçoes marks the spot where the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared in 1917. Other sacred sites include the Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, with its golden angels, and the modern church of Igreja da Santíssima Trindade. Continue on to Lisbon, Portugal’s hilly capital, which is a coastal city known for its cafe culture and soulful Fado music.

Day 5LISBON

Discover Lisbon with an indepth tour of the city. First of all we will visit the Belem Quarter where you will find the most beautiful and historical monuments from the 15th and 16th centuries. A brief stop at the Belem Tower (Torre de Belem) - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, point of departure of some of the Portuguese maritime explorations; and on the Monument to the Discoveries (Padrao dos Descobrimentos), built to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Prince Henry the Navigator. Then we have a photo stop at the church of St. Jerome Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jeronimos) - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - a masterpiece of the Manueline style (Closed on Mondays), likewise stopby at Pasties de Belem. Along the river we will drive pass Alfama, an old and traditional district. Then we will pass by downtown (Baixa) to admire the most important squares of Lisbon such as the monumental Trade Square (Praca do Comercio), Rossio Square, the heart of Lisbon and the symbolic Restauradores Square. Then we will drive along the Liberdade Avenue, the boulevard of Lisbon, to finish at Marques de Pombal Square, admiring the statue of the 18th-century portuguese statesman responsible for Lisbon reconstruction after one of the most deadliest earthquakes in history, the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake.

Day 6LISBON – SEVILLE

Depart Lisbon as we make our way via the Tagus Bridge and drive through Alentejo region across the Sierra Morena into Seville. Seville is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region and a hotbed for the flamenco dance, especially in the Triana neighborhood. The city is known for its ornate Alcázar castle complex, built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty, and its 18th-century Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza bullring. The massive Gothic cathedral is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb and a famous minaret turned bell tower, the Giralda.

Day 7SEVILLE – GRANADA

Granada, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Andalucía, has many important examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation of Spain. It’s best known for the Alhambra, a grand, sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompassing royal palaces, serene patios and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens.

Day 8GRANADA – VALENCIA

This morning travel via the Mora Pass to the city of Valencia. The port city of Valencia is on Spain’s southeastern Orange Blossom Coast, where the Turia River meets the Mediterranean Sea. It’s known as the City of Arts and Sciences, with futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum. Your sightseeing includes the Torres de Serrano, a set of medieval walls that are beautifully preserved and that represent the commercial expansion of the city back in the 14th century as well as other iconic places such as the Palacio de la Cortes Valencianas, the Plaza de la Virgen, the St Mary’s Cathedral and the Central Market.

Day 9VALENICA – BARCELONA

Head north along the coast through Levant region for the Barcelona, which is the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region and is defined by quirky art and architecture, imaginative food and vibrant street life. En route visit the La Roca Chic Outlets Village where popular brands can be found at discounted price.

Barcelona is known as the capital of Modernism and the place where famous architect Antoni Gaudi lived. Gaudi, one of the greatest innovators of his time, has left behind numerous treasures for the discerning tourist to discover in Barcelona. Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited buildings in the world. We will visit the astonishing interior of this church, where vaults reach seventy meters. Antoni Gaudi designed a Latin cross plan with five aisles, extremely rich in ornamentation and symbolism. Drive along the upmarket Passeig de Gracia and admire the remarkable architectural masterpiece in Casa Batllo as well as the Casa Mila. Drive around Jew Mountain (Montjuic Hill) to enjoy a great panoramic view of the port and the city. End the tour at Las Ramblas, undoubtedly Barcelona most famous shopping street.
