Day 1SINGAPORE ✈ HANEDA

Day 2HANEDA – TOKYO

ASA

Upon arrival, meet and greet by our local representative. Our Tokyo sightseeing will include a visit to the Tsukiji Fish Market, one of the super famous delightful gourmet town. Next, visit the Tokyo Sky Tree (admission included), a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 634.0 metres (2,080 ft) in March 2011, making it the tallest tower in the world, displacing the Canton Tower. Thereafter, proceed to Asakusa Kannon Temple with a history of more than 1,300 years. Its gate has two famous figures named “The Guardian of Thunder” and the “God of Wind”; be charmed by the traditional souvenir shops along Nakamise Souvenir Street. Proceed to Meiji Shrine, the spacious spiritual forest in the city. Visit the Takeshita Dori – the symbol of Harajuku and birthplace of many of Japan's fashion trends. Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) is a narrow, roughly 400 meter long street lined by shops, boutiques, cafes and fast food outlets. Continue to Omotesando, Tokyo's Champs-Elysees. Here you can find famous stores, boutiques, cafes and restaurants, including several leading fashion brand shops, along the avenue.

Day 3TOKYO – SAITAMA – KARUIZAWA

Today, drive towards Saitama. Visit a town of history retaining the culture and aroma of Edo, Koedo Kawagoe. The old storehouse merchant houses are lined up together with the Toki-no-kane (Bell Tower). Proceed to Kusatsu Onsen Spring District, one of Japan’s 3 most famous hot springs. You can experience a performance of yumomi close up and enjoy a Dance Show here. Thereafter, proceed to Mount Asama an active complex volcano, for a panoramic view. Visit Karuizawa Old Town, which offers a wide range of shopping opportunities, including a local version of Ginza, Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping district. The Karuizawa Ginza shopping street has a romantic ambience and is suited for a stroll or for buying souvenirs and local desserts.

Day 4KARUIZAWA – HAKONE – IZU

Begin the day with an excursion to Hakone National Park where rolling mountains, lakes, fresh air and wonderful hot spas exist side by side. Marvel at Mount Fuji from Lake Ashi where you will enjoy true Japanese natural atmosphere. Visit the Mishima Sky Walk (admission included), which is located on Japan’s highest mountain. Enjoy a walk along the longest suspension bridge to view the beautiful scenery. Next, visit the Numazu Fish Market, where you can enjoy all tasty and fresh seafood. Sushi and seafood are sold and you can also bring back some souvenir products. You can stop over at Joren no Taki, the most scenic waterfall. Toi is the oldest and largest onsen town on the west coast of Izu and is well known as the prime location from which to take in the breathtaking sunset over Mount Fuji to the north-north-west as well as being home to the interestingly named Koibito-Misaki (Lovers' Cape) which is on the west side of Izu Peninsula.

Day 5IZU – SHIMIZU – HAMAMATSU

Today, visit Toi Kinzan (admission included) - Gold Mine Museum to see examples of different forms of gold and learn about the manufacturing processing involved in refining the raw gold. Take the Suruga Bay Ferry from Toi port across to Shimizu Port. Thereafter, proceed to S-Pulse Dream Plaza which is a four story shopping mall along the waterfront that includes museums, movie theaters, a food court and a Ferris wheel. The mall is named after the local soccer team, Shimizu S-Pulse, whose stadium is located on the nearby Nihondaira plateau. mall's most unique attraction is the Shimizu Sushi Museum - Japan's first Sushi theme park, with informative displays and models about sushi.

Day 6HAMAMATSU – LAKE HAMANAKO – TOYOHASHI / BIWAKO REGION

After breakfast, visit to Hamamatsu Fruits Park, where you can enjoy picking various seasonal fruits. Next, head to Hamamatsu Flower Park, a botanical garden on the edge of Lake Hamana. The park is about 30,000 square meters, and has more than 100,000 plants of 3,000 different species. Here, you can enjoy viewing seasonal flowers and greenery throughout the year. Next, hitch on a bullet train (admission included) to Toyohashi.

Day 7TOYOHASHI / BIWAKO REGION – KYOTO – OSAKA – KANSAI

After breakfast, drive towards Kyoto. Visit Fushimi Taisya Shrine, an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters above sea level belonging to the shrine grounds. Thereafter Daigo-ji (admission included) is a Shingon Buddhist temple in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan. Its main devotion is Yakushi. Daigo, literally "ghee", is used figuratively to mean "crème de la crème" and is a metaphor of the most profound part of Buddhist thoughts. Explore the shopping paradise “Shinsaibashi” and be amazed by the many shops and departmental stores selling trendy clothes, shoes, books, etc. Visit food paradise “Dotonbori”, where many cafés, restaurants, street food stalls, etc. are located. See the colourful illuminated neon signboards by the Dotombori Canals, with their mirror reflections on the water.

Day 8KANSAI ✈ SINGAPORE

Spend the remaining day shopping at the US-originated full-scale Rinku Chelsea Premium Outlets, where you can get a wide range of branded merchandise at discounted prices. Immigration procedures require all tourists to possess a passport with minimum 6 months validity from the day of departure . Singapore passport do not require a visa to Japan. For foreign passport, please ensure relevant visa is applied should you need one. It is necessary to bring along re-entry permit or air ticket to country of origin for passenger not holding Singapore passport. It is advisable to keep separately a photocopy of your travel document.
