Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and begin your holiday with a pleasant flight to Japan.



Upon arrival, meet and greet by local representative and drive towards Gunma. Proceed to Byakue Dai-Kannon. This is the statue of Goddess of Mercy with the height of 41.8 meters and weight of 6,000 tons. Since it was built in 1936, the statue is loved by the citizens as the symbol of Takasaki. You can walk inside the statue up to the height of its shoulder. Thereafter, visit the Niigata Furusato Village, a multi-purpose tourism facility comprised primarily of the “Bazaar Hall” with its collection of Niigata’s products and delicacies, and the “Appeal Hall” with its introduction of Niigata’s history, culture, and tourist spots. Its various events are also quite popular. There are also 60,000 tulips in bloom.

One of Japan’s 3 most beautiful gorges, Kiyotsu Gorge is a stunning V-shaped valley made up of columnar joint rock formations and a crystal-clear flowing river. A 750m long tunnel allows visitors to view the gorge from 4 observation points, framing the gorgeous scenery in its openings. Next, proceed to the Hoshitoge Rice Terraces, which is famous for their scenic terraced rice fields and have been selected as one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Japan. Here you can see the area’s scenic beauty and enjoy the seasonal colours of the fields from the verdant green of summer to the pure white of winter. Enjoy a walk to Kashiwazakiuo Market, stroll through the market to see local fish and other seafood. Visit, a cape embraced by the Sea of Japan, providing striking panoramic view of the Sado island at the spiritual mountain. It is also known as “Lover Cape” for its said natural power of love. Continue, to the Bandai Bridge is an icon of Niigata city. It crosses Japan’s longest river, the Shinano which divides the city into two distinct halves. To the south of the bridge lies the newer, vibrant part of the city; to the north is the older, historical area.

This morning, enjoy a ferry ride to Sadojima. Next, hop on and experience wooden tub-shaped boats, that were originally used for collecting seaweed, shellfish and other things from the waters around Ogi. Proceed to the Senkaku-wan Bay Ageshima Park , a sightseeing attraction on Sado Island in Niigata. At the park, you can enjoy the glorious scenery of the Senkaku-wan Bay from the Ageshima Observatory and the Yusenkyo Bridge. You can also visit the Ageshima Aquarium to see coastal fish up close.

Today, proceed to Kamo Aquarium, the only aquarium in Yamagata. It has the world’s largest collection of jellyfishes on display (over 30 kinds), which offers a soothing spectacle to viewers as they consisted of many colors floating around in the water. Depart for beautiful Sakata City and visit the Mountain House warehouse. This rice warehouse building has been standing tall for 100 years in Sakata City. The location where the warehouse is situated – Shonai, Sakata – is known to be one of the most arable lands for growing grain in Japan! The ancient building is built with wooden exteriors and thick grassy roofs. Thick and very lush green trees protect the exteriors of the buildings. Enjoy the Maiko Dance Show, where you can observe apprentice geishas perform songs, dances, and play the shamisen with you.

After breakfast, proceed to Seitai Hoshikai, a catholic church housed in a Japanese-style building akin to temples and shrines. Set in a semi-rural area with tranquil gardens, the church is most famous for its crying statue, Our Lady of Akita. Tears were found coming out of the statue’s eyes one day in 1975, a phenomenon that continued intermittently over the next few years. Take a stroll around the charming streets of Kakunodate this morning and be engulfed in the atmosphere of this former castle town and samurai stronghold. Built with two distinct areas, the samurai district and merchant districts, the town has not changed much since its founding in 1620. The samurai district once consist of about 80 families still have some of the best examples of samurai architecture in Japan. Next, make a stop at Lake Tazawa, Japan’s deepest lake at a depth of 423.4m. The scenic caldera lake retain its natural and rustic atmosphere. Flowing along the floor of the Oirase Gorge, the Oirase River winds through a pristine forest made up of towering white cedar, Japanese beech and maple trees. Take your time to stroll (4.2km walk) through the forested paths and bask in the fresh air, lovely greens of the foliage and the clear river water as you follow the river round its bends.

Today, visit to the Hirosaki Castle. First constructed in 1611, the main castle is one of the few in Japan that has not been rebuilt in the recent era. Adjacent to the castle keep is the Hirosaki Park. Next, visit the Nebuta Museum, a facility that introduces the history and charms of the Aomori Nebuta Festival. At the Museum youcan experience every aspect of the festival. Proceed to fruit-picking (seasonal). Continue to the ASPAM – a triangle-shaped building after the image of the letter “A” from “Aomori” and is a landmark of Aomori. It is a 76-meter (249 feet) tall building with 15 floors, and is the central facility for local information about Aomori.
